Curious Joe all begun with a dream of creating kids clothes that are as colourful, vibrant and as unique as the little people wearing them.
The dream came to life in early 2018 after the birth of my son Joe, the perfect muse. Celebrating childhood was my number one aim, choosing prints that are wild and fun, exciting and expressive.
Mid July 2018, the market stall life started. From small local markets, to the prestigious Salamanca Markets in Hobart. But we left the chilly air of Tassie and in 2020, Joe and I moved to the glorious town of South West Rocks on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
I continued sewing, designing and creating Curious Joe at home until 2022 when I took the plunge and opened my first shop/studio. Luckily over the years of markets I had so many fellow small amazing businesses, which I stocked in the shop along side my handmade Curious Joe, which I made in store.
In 2024, Joe and I made the move further north to the Gold Coast, where I relocated the shop to beautiful Paradise Point. The little turquoise, quaint little shop was opened after a month of renovating and soon after the fabulous Andrea joined the team.
